I decided to round off the second half of the album with some folk songs that I'd already learned well enough to record in a single take. I only managed to write 3 original songs. I'm sure, to some degree, this is cheating, but my OCD just wants this to be over with. If anything, this challenge has given me perspective about where I'm at with my music. I think my banjo playing has come a long way, but I can't say the same for the vocals.

I realized February is a horrible month for me to be putting together an album. The themes are depressing as I'm depressed. It's a crummy month, this February. Anyway, here it is "The Longest Month."
